Description
The one that started it all! The Original Bee Pole is a length of untreated deadwood timber that has a flattened face on a portion of that length. A series of differing diameter holes are drilled into the flattened face that foster propagation of different types of solitary bees. The scent of the decomposing wood will attract native bees to the pole, where they will lay their eggs in the holes. Measures 4″ wide by 70″ tall.
Put your Bee Pole in the ground 18”-24” deep with holes facing east/southeast to the rising sun.
